Description
Château de la Gardine, a family-operated vineyard, has been producing wines in the Southern Rhône Valley since 1670. Their wine bottles are crafted in the shape of an old hand-blown flask, reminiscent of one of the earliest vessels used in Châteauneuf-du-Pape to bottle wines in history. Displaying a deep garnet hue, this wine presents aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, pepper, and liquorice, which gradually transition into notes of plum and leather. The palate offers a juicy and generous experience, accompanied by elegant tannins. With time, the wine is expected to develop a complex flavor reminiscent of cherry clafoutis.
