‘Puritan’ is young, very young, and the colour reflects its youth – it is bright, vibrant purple. There are black cherries and violets on the nose with a hint of liquorice weed. On the palate there are black and red fruits with a blueberry and black cherry finish. The wine is bright, zippy and even. Think fresh upfront fruit, almost as if you’ve taken a glass and dipped it into a vat of fermenting Shiraz, it’s THAT fresh. The wine is Vegan Suitable, has no added preservative and is Certified Organic.

Displaying strong regional characters, this is a prime example of well made McLaren Vale Shiraz. The nose offers ripe red and black fruits with an overlay of chocolate. The palate is medium bodied, imparting rich flavours of black fruit, warm spice and a lovely underlayer of toasty oak, all well balanced with fine tannins. Plenty of flavour, spice and intrigue keep you coming back to this impressive wine.
