Molasses based, Brugal Añejo Rum is skilfully blended using reserves from white American oak casks that previously held bourbon, with a column distillation process which removes many of the heavier esters.
Founded in 1888, Brugal was established with a vision to perfect the art of rum making. Nearly 130 years of Brugal Family passion, the fourth and fifth generations are now at the helm.
Not only the country’s only operating distillery, Brugal’s warehouses are carefully positioned north to south to make the most of the Dominican sun from morning to night, intensifying the ageing process.
