Description
This non-vintage Rosé Champagne is the culmination of a quest to craft a champagne with a captivatingly lush, fruit-forward allure. Led by cellarmaster Jacques Peters, the team aimed to create a champagne that exudes accessibility and natural charm while upholding Veuve Clicquot’s signature style.
The wine showcases a radiant hue with captivating pink highlights. Its generous and refined nose offers initial aromas of fresh red fruits like raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, and blackberry, evolving into enticing biscuity notes reminiscent of dried fruits and Viennese pastries, including almonds, apricots, and brioche.
On the palate, a fresh and fruity attack leads to a harmonious sensation, perfectly balanced in the distinctive Veuve Clicquot style of rosé champagnes, combining elegance and panache. This exquisitely full-bodied champagne works its magic, serving as a delightful aperitif to be savored with a loved one or shared among friends.
Crafted from 50 to 60 different crus, the blend mirrors the traditional composition of the Brut Yellow Label: 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 15 to 20% Pinot Meunier, and 28 to 33% Chardonnay.
James Suckling – 92 Points
The non-vintage edition of Veuve’s rosé‚ Champagne has a bright-strawberry and raspberry-fruit thread on the nose with a gently spicy edge too. The palate’s big on flavour and really exuberant thanks to expressive strawberry and hints of pink grapefruit.
This creamy Champagne shows fine balance, along with vibrant acidity that provides a juicy frame for the ripe strawberry, ground ginger and white peach flavours. Zesty finish.
