The Origin – 1874 As the inaugural release in the Time Collection, "The Origin – 1874" commemorates the year Louis XIII was first created. The decanter is inspired by a 16th-century flask discovered near the site of the Battle of Jarnac in France, which was owned by Paul-Émile Rémy Martin, the founder of Louis XIII. This exquisite decanter is crafted from pure Saint-Louis crystal, featuring 13 dentelle spikes and a unique stopper shaped like an upturned decanter. The neck and collar are adorned in a champagne-gold hue, and it is presented in an elegant metal case with a sleek woven texture, reminiscent of the wicker baskets used for delivering the original Louis XIII bottles. City of Lights – 1900 The second edition, "City of Lights – 1900," celebrates the year Louis XIII was unveiled at the Paris World Fair. This limited edition is available in 2,000 numbered decanters, each inspired by the unique style of a 16th-century flask. Hand-cut by master crystal artisans, the decanter boasts 13 laces instead of the usual 10, seven 18-karat gold fleurs-de-lis, a central medallion, and a stopper in the shape of an inverted decanter. Additionally, it features NFC technology, allowing owners to register it with the Louis XIII Society and receive a numbered medal struck by the Monnaie de Paris. The Cognac Each Louis XIII cognac is a blend of up to 1,200 eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from the Grande Champagne terroir, the most prestigious cru in the Cognac region. These eaux-de-vie are aged slowly in century-old tierçons, resulting in a rich and complex flavor profile that includes notes of honeysuckle, dried fruits, and spices, culminating in a harmonious and enduring finish.
