Penelope Toasted Series Bourbon 50% is a rich and expressive straight bourbon that adds an extra layer of depth through a secondary finish in a new, hand-toasted American oak barrel. After full maturation in charred new American oak, the bourbon develops pronounced notes of brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and toasted oak, creating a warm and dessert-like character. The current expression is bottled non-chill filtered at 100 proof, allowing its full-bodied texture and toasted character to shine.

The nose opens with brown sugar and cinnamon breakfast pastry, followed by a smooth palate of vanilla, graham cracker, and dried cherry. A savory roasted-marshmallow note leads into a lingering finish with gentle baking spice and oak. Enjoy it neat or over a large ice cube, or use it as a richer base for bourbon-forward cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. With its combination of caramelized sweetness, toasted oak, and warming spice, Penelope Toasted Series Bourbon is an excellent choice for bourbon enthusiasts seeking a distinctive bottle for sipping or adding to their collection.
