Livia Fontana Barolo Villero is an elegant and structured Barolo DOCG made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the renowned Villero Cru of Castiglione Falletto. The wine shows a complex bouquet of violet, sweet spices, cinnamon, and nutmeg, followed by a beautifully structured palate with vibrant freshness and vigorous yet refined tannins. Traditional vinification and extended ageing in oak barrels for 30 to 40 months give the wine remarkable depth while preserving its expressive character and balance. A persistent, delicately balsamic finish adds further sophistication.

This classic Piedmontese red offers the power, elegance, and longevity expected from a fine Barolo while maintaining a refined and graceful texture. Its combination of floral aromatics, spice, freshness, and firm tannins makes it an excellent partner for rich Italian cuisine, braised meats, lamb, game, truffle dishes, and aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C and allow the wine time to open in the glass to appreciate its full complexity. The winery notes that the wine can develop in bottle for approximately 15–20 years.
