Château Talbot 2016 is a classic Saint-Julien Bordeaux with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, and 6% Petit Verdot, aged 15 months in oak. It shows refined structure, balanced power, and represents the strong 2016 vintage. In the glass, it has deep garnet color with aromas of cassis, blackberry, black cherry, floral hints, cedar, tobacco, and spice. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied, with smooth, structured tannins, dark fruit, mineral notes, and a long, focused finish. Critics praise it highly, scoring 92–95 points for richness, texture, and aging potential. Cellaring into the 2030s will soften tannins and deepen flavors.
