Black Fox SE Eleven Single Grain Canadian Whisky captures the spirit of prairie-born craftsmanship, from the grain it grows to the barrel it ages in. The whisky is distilled from 100% single grain — currently triticale (a wheat–rye hybrid) — grown on Black Fox’s own Saskatchewan farm. Then the whisky matures in new American oak barrels, stored outside under the wide prairie sky. As the seasons change, the casks expand and contract, giving each batch subtle differences and a sense of place. On the nose, SE Eleven offers inviting aromas of toasted grain, soft oak, and gentle caramel. On the palate, you’ll notice warm vanilla, light spice, and a soft woodiness. Often tasting notes lean toward toasted grain and soft oak, with a smooth, balanced body and a clean, lingering finish. Because the whisky grows from seed to spirit on the same land, each bottle feels rooted in its origin.
