April showers (or April snowfalls?) bring May flowers! Which is why we’re continuing our April recipes with this aptly named April Showers cocktail! This drink brings together a perfect blend of gin, fresh lemon juice, agave nectar, and grapefruit juice to create an amazing springtime drink.
Ingredients:
3 oz. gin
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
1.5 tbsp. agave nectar
6 oz. grapefruit juice
Edible flowers for garnish, optional
Recipe:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add all the ingredients in the shaker and shake vigorously.
3. Pour into your glass of choice!
4. Optional: Garnish with edible flowers to enjoy the May flowers early!
Serving options: This drink is easily customizable. Add more agave nectar if you want it on the sweeter side. If you prefer tart, then more grapefruit juice is the way to go! When it comes to glassware, you have choices! This drink looks equally beautiful in a martini or coupe glass or served over ice in a short glass.
