Rothschild Rimapere Pinot Noir 750mL

This Pinot is light and smooth. The tannins are soft and do not linger. It is a dry wine with emphasis on acidity. It is refreshing and easily sipped. Like the Sauvignon Blanc of Rimapere, this Pinot is extremely easy to drink on a summer’s afternoon. To the eye: a beautiful light ruby red that reminds one of rubies shining in the sun. On the nose: Notes of cracked pepper, red fruits, and earthiness are most noticeable. On the palate: berries, such as strawberry and cranberry can be experienced with a slight afterthought of cherry. Notes of leather and smoke towards the end.

This wonderful wine can be paired with white meats such as seared tuna and chicken breast. Duck is also an excellent option for this wine as the delicate flavor of the meat is well partnered with such a delicate wine.
